A. Appointment: There is hereby created the Mt. Morris Historical Committee, an advisory Committee of the Village. The Committee shall consist of three (3) members appointed by the Village President with approval of the Board of Trustees, as well as the Village President and the public properties Trustees who will serve as ad hoc members of the Committee.
B. Terms: The appointed members of said Committee shall serve respectfully for the following terms: one (1) for one (1) year, one (1) for two (2) years, and one (1) for three (3) years, the successor to each member so appointed to serve for a term of three (3) years.
C. Vacancies: Vacancies shall be filled in the same manner as the original appointments. (1979 Code § 2-8-1)
