Any person who, while driving a motor vehicle, knowingly causes the tires to squeal when accelerating or braking, or drives from roadside to roadside on or adjacent to the roadway or into the opposite lane of traffic in a careless or reckless manner commits unsafe driving. (1979 Code § 11-3-2)
