The term "fireworks", as used in this chapter, shall mean and include any combustible or explosive composition, or any substance or combination of substances or articles prepared for the purpose of producing a visible or audible effect by combustion, explosion, deflagration or detonation; provided, however, that this definition shall not be construed to include shells and cartridges or reloading equipment supplies for the use in firearms.
