A. It shall be unlawful for any dog to run at large in the streets or public places in the Village, or upon the private premises of any person other than the owner or keeper of such dog. The running at large of any dog in any of said places is hereby declared to be a nuisance. The President or any Trustees, officer or agent of the Village is hereby authorized to abate said nuisance, as hereinafter provided.
B. It shall be unlawful for any owner or keeper of a dog to suffer or permit such dog to run at large in the streets or public places in the Village or upon the private premises of any person other than the owner or keeper of such dog. (1979 Code § 10-4-2)
