(A) The City Council shall set a fee schedule for the administration of this chapter. The Planning and Development Department shall be responsible for collecting such fees. All fees relating to recording of documents shall be borne directly by the subdivider and/or applicant.
(B) The city shall provide notice of new subdivision fees and fee increases under G.S. § 160D-805 to interested parties of the imposition of or increase in fees or charges applicable solely to the construction of development at least seven days prior to the first meeting where the fee amendments will be on the agenda for consideration and also meet at least two means of communication under G.S. § 160D-805. However, this section shall not apply if the imposition of or increase in fees or charges is contained in a budget filed in accordance with the requirements of G.S. § 159-12.
