§ 35.22 DUTIES GENERALLY.

   It shall be the duty of the Chief of Police to:

   (A)   Supervise, subject to the City Manager, the Police Department;

   (B)   Preserve the peace by suppression of all disturbances and apprehension of all offenders;

   (C)   Assign such duties as he or she deems best to the police officers of the city; and

   (D)   Such other and further duties as the City Manager may assign.
