§ 35.20 CHIEF TO ASSIGN DUTIES.
   The Chief of Police, subject to the City Manager, shall have charge of the police force and as such shall assign such duties to the police officers as he or she thinks best for the good order of the city and shall be responsible to the City Manager in seeing that the police officers faithfully perform their duties.
