(A) The State Plumbing Code (State Building Code, Volume II, Plumbing) as enacted and published by the State Building Code Council and as modified by the cumulative supplements thereto and the amendments adopted by the State Building Code Council, is hereby adopted by reference as fully as though set forth herein as the plumbing code for the city.
(B) Homogeneous bituminized fiber sewer pipe is hereby added to the approved materials listed in Table 505 of the State Building Code, Volume II, Plumbing, for use within the city and the boundaries of its extraterritorial jurisdiction established for the enforcement of municipal regulatory powers conferred by G.S. Article 2, Chapter 160D, being G.S. §§ 160D-201 et seq. All installations of such material must meet the current requirements of the North Carolina Plumbing Code, as amended from time to time.
