§ 93.24 PERMITS.
   (A)   Chapter 1 of the North Carolina Fire Code, Mandatory Permits and Certificates, as amended, is hereby incorporated by reference in this chapter. Every business or user of a building or structure required to obtain a mandatory permit under the State Fire Code must obtain such permit no later than 30 days after notification by the Fire Chief, or his or her designee.
   (B)   The Fire Chief, or his or her designee, shall have the authority to issue all applicable State Fire Code permits to businesses which require such permits under the State Fire Code. Permits will be valid for 12 or 24 months from the date of issuance and is determined by the inspection frequency of the facility as required per § 93.37. Permit fees will be in accordance with the City Fee Schedule.
