The calculation for monthly sewer rate charges is based on water rate usage. If a user gives the City at least 30 days advance notice of intent to use the City water system for the filling of a pool, application of the water usage component (to calculate the sewer bill) shall be modified for the next monthly billing cycle. The formula, to be applied for that monthly billing cycle (e.g. the month in which the pool is filled) will use 100% of the average water use, based on the last three billing cycles if available. If not available, historical use will be considered for use at the property from prior users during the same monthly periods. This discount formula will not impact the charge for actual water usage, on the monthly water rate charge billing.
