§ 1-7-35 CORPORATE COUNSEL.
   The corporate counsel shall be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council and shall be the legal advisor for the city; and in such proceedings in which the Mayor directs, will represent the city and its officers in such legal proceedings requiring services of an attorney and as requested by the Mayor.
