On the third Tuesday in April 1914, there shall be elected six Aldermen: two Aldermen from each of said wards. At the first meeting of the City Council after such election the Aldermen elected shall be divided, by lot, into two classes, those of the first class shall continue in office for one year and those of the second class for two years and annually thereafter. On the third Tuesday of April each year, one Alderman shall be elected from each ward for a term of two years, and on said third Tuesday in April 1914, and biennially thereafter, the city shall elect the following officers: Mayor and City Clerk.
