(A) The standing committees of the City Council shall consist of three members each and shall be appointed by the Mayor annually, upon entering the duties of his or her office, and the first person named on each committee shall be the Chairperson thereof.
(B) The following standing committees of the Council are hereby established as:
(1) Administration.
(a) Building;
(b) Finance; and
(c) License and Ordinances.
(2) Public safety. Police.
(3) Public works.
(a) Sidewalks and Crossings;
(b) Solid Waste;
(c) Streets and Alleys; and
(d) Water and Sewer.
(4) Recreation.
(a) Concert; and
(b) Recreation System Rep.
(C) All standing and special committees to whom matters are referred, or by whom duties shall be performed, shall in all cases, report their acts and doings and their recommendations and the state of facts in their hands, respectively in writing, with their opinions stated therein.
