(A) Required.
(1) It shall be unlawful to sell or offer for sale at retail, to give away, deliver or to keep with the intention of selling at retail, giving away or delivering tobacco products, cigarette papers or wrappers within the city without having first obtained a tobacco dealer’s license therefor pursuant to this chapter.
(2) Such license shall be in addition to any other license required by this code.
(B) Application.
(1) Application for a license hereunder shall be made in writing to the City Clerk and shall state the name and residence of the applicant, and the location at which sales are to be made.
(2) Such application shall be accompanied by evidence that the applicant is a person of good character and reputation, and shall be accompanied by the license fee provided in this section.
(C) Fee. The annual license fee under this chapter shall be the sum of $20.
