A. Statement Of Purpose: The purpose of this chapter is to provide standards and procedures for responsible care and ownership of dogs and other domestic animals within the incorporated areas of the City. This chapter does not address all aspects of animal ownership, rather, it establishes some minimum standards for animal care, control and treatment in the interest of public safety and animal welfare. The responsibility for actions and behavior of domestic animals remains with the owner.
B. Title: This chapter shall be referred as the CITY OF MOYIE SPRINGS, IDAHO, ANIMAL CONTROL ORDINANCE. (Ord. 108, 10-4-2006)
