All streets, except alleys and collector commercial, local commercial, arterial or industrial, shall be constructed with portland cement concrete vertical curb and gutter and/or V-type gutter. Only vertical curb and gutter shall be constructed in industrial streets. The materials and construction methods for curb and/or gutter shall conform with IDOT Roads and Bridges Standard Specifications in accordance with the dimensions and specifications shown, therefor, in the International Building Code.
