(A) The Mayor shall perform all the duties which are prescribed by law and shall take care that the laws and ordinances are faithfully executed.
(B) The Mayor from time to time, may and annually shall give the Village Board information relative to the affairs of the village, and may recommend for its consideration such measures as he or she believes expedient.
(C) It shall be within the Mayor’s discretion to make payments, emergency purchases, to enter into contracts and make acquisitions no more than $500 when the Mayor deems that said expenditure is in the best interest of the village.
