Upon receipt of a notice of appeal the Village Clerk shall forthwith transmit notice thereof to the Mayor, who shall thereupon place the matter upon the agenda of the Village Council, of the meeting next following, whereupon the Village Clerk shall forthwith notify the party or parties involved of the date, time and place of said hearing.
