§ 53.999  PENALTY.
   (A)   (1)   Penalty.
         (a)   Any person found to be violating any provision of this chapter, except §§ 53.120 and 53.135 shall be served by the village with written notice stating the nature of the violation and providing a reasonable time limit for the satisfactory correction thereof, the offender shall, within the period of time stated in such notice, permanently cease all violations.
         (b)   The village may revoke any permit for sewage disposal as a result of any violation of any provision of this chapter, except § 53.135.

      (2)   Continued violations. Any person who shall continue any violation beyond the time limit provided for in § 53.096 shall be, upon conviction, be fined in the amount not exceeding $750 for each violation. Each day in which any such violation shall continue shall be deemed a separate offense.

      (3)   Liability to village. Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter, except § 53.135, shall become liable to the village by reason of such violation.

   (B)   Discharge of sanitary sewage, § 53.135. Any person, firm or corporation violating § 53.135 shall be fined not less then $75 nor more than $750 for each offense and separate offenses shall be deemed committed each and every day during which a violation continues or exists.
