The Superintendent of the Water and Sewer Departments shall be subject to the supervision of the Mayor and the Water and Sewer Committee and shall be hereinafter be referred to as the “Superintendent”. The Superintendent shall be appointed by the Mayor, by and with the advice and consent of the Village Board and shall hold office until his or her successor is appointed and qualified. He or she shall receive such salary as may be provided by the annual budget of the Village Board at the time of his or her appointment.
