§ 34.024  EXECUTION OF WARRANTS.
   All patrol officers shall have power and authority and it shall be their duty, to serve and execute warrants and other legal papers for the apprehension and commitment of persons charged with the violation of any village ordinance, or any crime or misdemeanor, or offense against the laws of the village and state, or held for examination or trial. And they shall also have power and authority and it shall be their duty to serve and execute any civil process issued by any court on any person that is named in such civil process.
