Nothing in this subchapter or in any rules or regulations promulgated or to be promulgated by the Chief of Police with the consent of the Mayor shall be deemed to give any member of the Department any right to continued employment or any property interest in his or her position beyond the expiration of his or her term of office or disciplinary action.
