§ 161.246 HEIGHT OF SIGNS.
   (A)   The overall height of a freestanding sign or sign structure is measured from the lowest point of the ground directly below the sign to the highest point of the freestanding sign or sign structure.
   (B)   Exception. Where a freestanding sign or sign structure is mounted along a roadway that has a higher grade level as compared to the grade level directly below the freestanding sign or sign structure, then the freestanding sign or structure’s height will be measured from the roadway grade level to the highest point of the freestanding sign or sign structure.
