The Tree Board shall be composed of eight members. Five shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council. These five members shall serve without compensation and shall reside within the City of Mt. Vernon. The Public Works Director, Parks and Public Facilities Director, and the Downtown Mt. Vernon Development Corporation Executive Director of the City of Mt. Vernon shall be the remaining three and shall be ex officio members and shall not vote.
