(A) There is hereby created a Parks and Public Facilities Department. The Department shall have authority over the Veteran’s Park, Lincoln Park and all lands acquired by the City by donation, condemnation or otherwise for park purposes and, in addition, shall have responsibility for maintenance of public buildings, public grounds and municipal right-of-ways.
(B) The Parks and Public Facilities Department shall be administered by the Director of Parks and Public Facilities who shall be under the direction and supervision of the City Manager.
