CITY. Shall mean and refer to the City of Mt. Vernon, an Illinois municipal corporation.
DEPARTMENT. Shall mean and refer to the City Finance Department of the City of Mt. Vernon, Illinois.
HOTEL (WHICH INCLUDES A MOTEL), OPERATOR, OCCUPANCY, ROOM OR ROOMS, PERMANENT RESIDENT, RENT OR RENTAL, DEPARTMENT and PERSON. Defined and shall have the meanings provided in 35 ILCS 145/2 as that section may be in force from time to time.
RETURN. Any return filed or required to be filed as provided in this ordinance.
