The Director of Finance shall collect the taxes, interest and penalties imposed by the article. In addition to all other remedies available for the collection of debts due the city, the Director of Finance may proceed by initiation of suit in the Magistrate Court or Circuit Court of Marshall County, or other such court of competent jurisdiction over the issues involved.
