The building commission shall consist of a board of three members, all of whom shall be residents of the City . The members thereof shall be appointed by the City Council. No more than two-thirds (2/3) of the total number of members shall be from the same political party and no member shall hold any office (other than notary public) or employee under the United States of America, the State of West Virginia, or any country or political subdivision thereof, or any political party. Each member shall be appointed for a term of five years, and may be re-appointed for successive terms. (Passed 12-6-16.)
