1709.03 APPLICATION FOR PERMIT.
   (a)   To obtain a building permit, the applicant shall first file an application in writing or online on a form furnished by the building department. The application shall:
      (1)   Identify and describe the work to be covered by the permit.
      (2)   Describe the land on which the proposed work is to be done by legal description, street address or similar description that will readily identify and definitely locate the proposed building or work.
      (3)   Indicate the use and occupancy for which the proposed work is intended.
      (4)   Be accompanied by construction documents and other information of sufficient clarity to indicate the location, nature and extent of the work proposed and show in detail that it will conform to the provisions of this code and relevant laws, ordinances, rules and regulations, shall be submitted to the Building Department at the time application is made for a permit. The Building Inspector may request additional information or clarification as needed.
      (5)   State the valuation of the proposed work.
      (6)   Be signed by the applicant, or the applicant’s authorized agent.
      (7)   Give such other data and information as required by the Building Official.
      (8)   A list of Sub-contractors shall be provided at the time of application by any contractor using sub-contractors. If the sub-contractors performing the work have not been named a list of work that is to be sub-contracted out shall be included at the time of application. The sub-contractor’s information shall be given to the building department before the work being performed is started. (Ord. 4-18-23)
