(a) There is hereby created the position of Office Supervisor, and the City Manager shall appoint a competent person to serve in such capacity. Such person shall be directly responsible to the City Manager for varied and complex clerical work involving the exercise of independent judgment and direction of the clerical staff of the City.
(b) The Office Supervisor shall, among other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the City Manager, be responsible for:
(1) The planning, supervising and reviewing the work of the clerical staff of the City;
(2) The satisfactory completion of:
A. Accounting and budgeting;
B. Utility billing;
C. Gross sales billing;
D. Public safety fee billing;
E. Utility tax billing;
F. Paving assessment billing;
(3) Supervising the collection of all delinquent accounts; and
(4) Scheduling of work hours for the clerical staff.
