141.06 ASSISTANT FIRE CHIEF.

In the absence of the Chief, the Assistant Fire Chief shall command the Fire Department and shall have the powers and perform the duties of the Chief. He shall have such other powers and perform such other duties as may be prescribed for him by the City Manager or by the Chief.
