The Building Inspector shall charge for the use of the City the following fees for permits
granted which shall include costs of material and labor being performed:
Under $1000.00 | No charge |
$1,001 to $2,500 | 20.00 |
$2,501 to $5,000 | 25.00 |
$5,001 to 10,000 | 30.00 |
$10,001 to 20,000 | 35.00 |
$20,001 to 25,000 | 40.00 |
$25,001 to 35,000 | 45.00 |
35,001 and all over | 50.00 plus $2.00 per $1,000 or fraction of $1,000 over $35,001. |
Business and Occupation Tax when required shall be paid before a building permit is issued, or provide a bond therefor in compliance with Section 745.181 of the Codified Ordinances.
These fees shall be paid to the City Treasurer by the applicant upon receiving the permit.
