Alternately, the process may be modified so that the subdivider may file with the Planning Commission a performance bond or other surety acceptable to the Commission, the amount to be fixed by the Commission in a form satisfactory to the City Attorney for the installation or completion of improvements not yet constructed. In fixing the amount of such bond or other assurance, the Commission shall give due consideration to the cost of the required improvements as estimated by the City Engineer or City authority having jurisdiction over the local roads, publicly-owned utilities and drainage facilities involved.
