781.07 RECEIPT OF PROPERTY SUBJECT TO LIEN.
   Should anyone take action to receive ownership of the subject property by any means, including, but not limited to, transfer, sale, assignment, forfeiture or county, state or federal tax sale, the new owner of record shall take the property subject to all municipal liens and shall thereafter be responsible for payment thereof. A lien imposed pursuant to this article shall be effective for a period of ten (10) years from the date of filing at the county courthouse; Provided that said lien may be extended for additional periods of ten (10) years by the City filing a document setting forth the intention to extend said lien for an additional ten (10) years, before the expiration of the existing ten year period.
