(A) Officers. The Commission shall select a vice chairperson and Secretary. The vice chairperson shall be selected from its membership and shall serve for a term of one year. The Secretary may be selected from the Commission or city staff.
(B) Attorney and Engineer. The municipal attorney shall act as attorney for the Commission and the Director of Public Works/Parks and Recreation shall act as its engineer.
(C) Rules of procedure. At its first meeting, the Commission shall adopt rules of procedure and elect the two officers. It shall amend the rules, from time to time, as is necessary.
(D) Meetings. The Commission shall establish regular meeting dates, but special meetings may be called by any officer of the Commission upon seven days’ notice to all members. The Commission shall hold at least 12 regular meetings each calendar year.
(E) Quorum. A majority of the appointed members shall constitute a quorum.
