(A) Appointment of members.
(1) The Commission shall consist of seven members appointed by the City Council and based on the recommendation of the Parks and Recreation Commission, from the applications submitted.
(2) Based upon the recommendation of the Parks and Recreation Commission, the City Council shall appoint a Chairperson.
(B) Oath of office. Every appointed member shall, before entering upon the discharge of his or her duties, take an oath that he or she will faithfully discharge the duties of his or her office.
(C) Compensation. Members of the Commission shall serve without compensation.
