An applicant may appeal the denial of a wetland alteration or wetland buffer permit by the Director of Community Development to the City Council. An appeal shall be filed in writing no more than 14 days following the date of the decision by the Community Development Director. The appeal shall be scheduled for consideration by City Council at the next regular City Council meeting which is at least seven days from the date of the appeal. Consideration of appeals shall be in accordance with the standards and procedures set forth in this chapter. A decision by the City Council shall be final.
