The City Administrator shall verify the information supplied in the application and conduct the investigation, as required by the Council, of the applicant, proposed activities and premises. The Council shall require review and recommendation from the Fire Chief and Police Chief before the license is granted. The Council may require a public hearing on the application, and the hearing shall be held at the time and upon the notice as the Council may determine. The Council may grant or refuse to grant the license after consideration of the application.
