§ 51.006 DAMAGE TO SYSTEM PROHIBITED.
   It shall be unlawful for any person to tamper with, use, alter or damage any water line or connection of any part thereof or any fire hydrant, curb or valve box or street valves or connection of any type or part thereof without authority of the municipality. Any person who so damages shall be liable for the damage or loss to the municipality caused thereby.
