SECTION 14.5. PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION OF CHARTER
The Board of Trustees may by ordinance provide that a willful or intentional violation of a provision of this Charter shall be deemed a misdemeanor and may be prosecuted in the Municipal Court. Any person convicted of such a violation may be punished by imprisonment for a term not to exceed the maximum term of imprisonment that the Municipal Court is authorized to impose, by a fine in an amount not to exceed the maximum fine that the Municipal Court is authorized to impose, or by both such fine and imprisonment and the court may additionally impose such other sanction or remedy as is within its authority.
