SECTION 6.1. TOWN ATTORNEY

The Board shall appoint a Town Attorney to serve at the pleasure of the Board. The Town Attorney shall be an attorney at law admitted to practice in Colorado. The Town Attorney shall be the legal representative of the Town and shall advise the Board and Town officials in matters relating to their official powers and duties and perform such other duties as the Board may prescribe. The Board shall establish the compensation for the Town Attorney and any assistants or special counsel.
