A. Code Adopted: There is hereby adopted by the City Council for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion, that certain code known as the 2015 International Fire Code, save and except such portions as are hereinafter deleted, modified or amended. Not less than three (3) copies of the Code have been and now are filed in the Office of the City Clerk and the same are hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein. From and after September 1, 1982, the provisions of the 2015 International Fire Code shall be controlling within the limits of the City.

B. Definition: Wherever the word “Municipality” is used in the 2015 International Fire Code hereby adopted, it shall be held to mean the “City of Morris”.
