A. The Fire Department of the City is a volunteer Fire Department which has in its employ not more than two (2) full-time salaried firefighters, and not less than eight (8) nor more than twenty five (25) volunteer firefighters.
B. For the purpose of this chapter, a volunteer firefighter shall be considered as one who is enrolled as a member of the Fire Department and who serves in that capacity without receiving a regular salary.
