The village will furnish materials and labor for construction of water service from the water main in the abutting street to a curb stop placed on the nearest line of the applicant’s property, except in commercial and industrial areas, the curb stop will be placed at the street curb. Prior to the location of the curb stop, a meter pit shall be installed at the village’s expense. Such service and materials shall be maintained by the village. Water service to single-family residential properties shall not exceed one-inch piping. Materials and labor for the water service from the curb stop to the residence shall be furnished by the applicant and this portion of the water service will be maintained by the customer or lot owner.
