The village shall provide educational materials that explain the requirements of C.F.R. 382.601, consequences of violating the regulations, and the village's policies and procedures with the respect to meeting these requirements. The materials supplied to safety sensitive employees may include information on additional employer policies with respect to the use or possession of alcohol or controlled substances, for example, the consequences for an employee found to have a specified alcohol or controlled substances level based on the village's authority independent of C.F.R. 382.601. The village shall ensure each employee is required to sign a statement that he or she has received a copy of these materials described in C.F.R. 382.601.
