(A) Upon submission of an application supplied by the city and payment of a processing fee of one hundred dollars ($100.00) at least forty-five (45) days prior to the intended beginning date of the vending activity and approval by the city, the City Clerk shall issue a permit effective until December 31 of the year of issuance for the vending of goods and services within the city limits upon such terms and conditions as the city may impose in order to protect the health and welfare of the public, including, but not limited to, the number and age of persons conducting vending activities; the goods offered; the hours of activity. Residents of Butler County who sell fresh produce on an occasional basis will be exempted from the processing fee.
(B) Upon issuance of the permit, the vendor shall have clearly displayed at all times when vending the issued permit.
(C) Each transient vendor shall be required to provide a permanent street address and all persons working for or with the transient vendor shall submit to being fingerprinted, photo taken and criminal background check made by the city Police Department.
