(A) A speed limit of thirty-five (35) miles per hour shall be imposed on the entire length of Kentucky State Highways 231 and 70 within the city limits.
(B) No motor vehicle shall exceed a speed of twenty-five (25) miles per hour through a school zone between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on days on which school is in session.
(C) A speed limit of twenty-five (25) miles per hour shall be imposed upon all streets within the city limits which are controlled and maintained by the city.
(D) Temporary reductions may be imposed from time to time for maintenance, accidents and other emergencies. Temporary increase shall not be allowed except in the physical presence of an authorized patrolman or traffic control individual.
