§ 22.101  TERMS; APPOINTMENT; REMOVAL
   (A)   The members of the Commission appointed under this article shall be appointed for terms as follows:  one for a term of three (3) years, from the time the present terms of each member now serving expires.
   (B)   The commissioners and their successors shall be appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Council.
   (C)   All commissioners shall continue in office until their successors have been appointed and qualified.  Any commissioner shall be eligible for the reappointment upon the expiration of his term.
   (D)   Any commissioner failing to attend three (3) successive meetings without cause acceptable to and approved by the Commission shall be automatically removed from office and the vacancy shall be filled as hereinabove provided.
   (E)   Each commissioner shall be removable for cause by the recorded vote of a majority of the City Council at a public hearing provided that the cause or causes for such removal are submitted in writing to the City Council at least two (2) weeks prior to the hearing.
   (F)   If any commissioner shall become a candidate for or be elected or appointed to any public office or shall move from the city, he shall automatically vacate his membership from the Commission.
   (G)   In the event of a vacancy on the Commission from any cause and also at least thirty (30) days prior to the expiration of the term of any commissioner, his successor shall be appointed as provided in subsections (A) and (B) of this section.
