§ 20.208  MEETINGS
   (A)   The City Council shall hold regular meetings once a month and the meetings shall be held on the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. Central Standard Time.
   (B)   The place of the meeting shall be in the Eva J. Hawes Agriculture Exposition and Community Center.
   (C)   Special meetings may be called at any time by the Mayor or by a majority of the Council by a written notice delivered at least twenty-four (24) hours before the time specified for the proposed meeting.
   (D)   At any meeting of the City Council a majority of the members shall constitute a quorum, but a lesser number may adjourn from time to time and may compel the attendance of absent members.
   (E)   The Mayor shall preside at all meetings of the City Council and may vote in case of a tie.
   (F)   The City Clerk shall meet with the City Council.  If the City Clerk is absent, the Mayor shall appoint one (1) of the members of the City Council as Clerk pro tem.
   (G)   The Chief of Police, or a member of the Police Department appointed by him, shall be present at each meeting.
   (H)   All meetings of the City Council shall be held within the city limits and shall be public meetings.
