§ 92.021 INTERFERENCE WITH ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person to interfere with, molest or hinder the MACO in the discharge of his or her duty.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person to fail to obey a lawful order of the MACO if such failure interferes with or hinders such code investigator in the discharge of his or her official duties. For the purpose of this section, the term “lawful order” shall be strictly construed and shall include only such orders that relate directly to matters of substantial importance in the discharge of official duties of animal shelter investigators. It is an affirmative defense to this section that failure to obey the lawful order did not interfere with or hinder the MACO.
